#ConstructionWeek2021 In The Books

Thanks to the many men and women in the construction industry, Construction Week 2021 was a smashing success.  Gov. Kim Reynolds kicked off the week by officially proclaiming Oct. 4th-8th as Construction Week in Iowa.  She did this in a public ceremony at a commercial job site in downtown Des Moines near the Capitol and gave some great remarks on the importance of the trades.  We are very appreciative of the time she took to help us celebrate.  Check out some of those pictures below.

Many MBI firms also took this opportunity to promote their own employees, by shining a spotlight on them and sharing their stories with us, and then allowing us to promote them through our social media channels.  Companies bought flags, displayed banners, held appreciation luncheons and took the time to simply say thank-you.  While everyone was busy doing their own celebration, we at MBI were proud to host two different luncheons for over 150 workers on a job site in Des Moines and Mt. Vernon.

We hope that you all had a great celebration this week, and we look forward to building on the success of this week into next year’s #ConstructionWeek2022!
