Join MBI members from around the state and spend some time networking with colleagues at the MBI Lunch Club. Beginning at 11:30 AM, we’ll gather for some light networking and lunch and then lead into a learning opportunity that will feature Tara Rinehart, Vice President of Industry Education at MBI and Sonya Bohmann, Executive Director of Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention (CIASP). The topic of learning will include MBI’s Dimensions of Wellness with a special highlight on Emotional Wellness.
As part of MBI’s Dimensions of Wellness initiative, our goal is to provide supports and resources in each dimension that you can implement with your employees. This is just one of the many resources available to you as members of MBI.
Emotional Wellness is:
- Providing resources for stress management, mindfulness practices, and mental health support services are vital for addressing the psychological well-being of all individuals.
- Creating a stigma-free environment where everyone feels comfortable discussing mental health concerns builds a culture of support and understanding.
- Recognizing and validating emotions, and promoting work-life balance, contribute to emotional well-being.
- Employee assistance programs (EAPs& MAPs), mental health awareness, counseling services, and resilience training can equip everyone with coping mechanisms to navigate stressors effectively as well as support others.
The only thing we’ll ask is an RSVP so we know how much lunch to order!
