This webinar will focus on the dangers of distracted driving and statistics related to incidents that have occurred in the state of Iowa. Tragedies that have resulted from drivers who are distracted should be a wake-up call for any driver. The three different types of distracted driving will be reviewed as well as the specific controls to mitigate risk of an incident will also be covered. Manual, visual, and cognitive distractions are far too common, and this program is designed to raise awareness of the ongoing challenges that all drivers face each day. Lastly, company policy expectations and the consequences of distracted driving will be discussed.
